Description
Make your own viking carving axe. In this 2 day woodland workshop you will take a forged axe head and spend the time crafting your own custom handle from Scottish hardwood using traditional hand tools such as the drawknife, spokeshave and rasp.
You will then learn how to take the rough forged axe head to a hair-shaving level. Finally you can select your own contrasting wedge wood, shape it and hang your new axe.
All done by the fire in a beautiful Oak woods on Inshriach estate. Tea and coffee provided.
