Learn Scottish woodcarving traditions in the forest at Inshriach, close to Aviemore. Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Highlanders by replicating a 2000 year old Highlands cup of your own. With expert tuition from Wooden Tom, you will be guided to safely use hand tools such as a knife and axe to create your own Highlands kuksa cup or whisky quaich to take home.
There is no need for prior experience as you will be guided step-by-step in all the green wood skills and tool techniques needed on the day. This is a great course to learn many of the grounding skills in one day which are transferable on to other carving projects.
