Knife Making 28th August

5 in stock

Immerse yourselves in the woods for a day and craft your very own knife. In this one-day course, create a knife that fits your hand, for practical use in the years to come!

You will learn about timber selection, looking at a range of Scottish hardwoods. Next, choose your own handle wood which you’ll shape to suit your own hand, and then fit a pre-made high carbon steel blade. As with most wood working, what makes it great is the finishing. You’ll sand the knife handles down to a very smooth finish and protect with a high quality knife handle oil.
