During tests with commonly used ladles our sauna ladles were noticeably cooler to hold. This is largely due to the material and coatings used. If you want your ladle even cooler to the touch then you can select the option to add temperature reducing grooves in the drop down menu.
The skill in these ladles is in carefully choosing branches with enough character whilst without sacrificing function. This requires a walk in the woods and a keen eye.The bark is then carefully removed with a knife leaving the makers marks throughout the piece.
Made to last! Rust free aluminium scoop with a powder coating attached to the handle with a single Japanned screw so that the handle or scoop if needed be replaced with ease.
