☹️ a cracked cup! So heartbreaking when you have made a cup you are proud of! This thankfully does not happen much at all any more with the way I carve my cups, but every once in a while I think the cup gods like to remind me wood is a natural material with it's own personality, history and hidden flaws.

I try to eliminate this happening to anyone buying my cups by running them through a series of waterproof tests which should find any flaws if there are any. Not in this case apparently😐

The cup owner thankfully was very understanding and their new cup is being made for them 🙂

A little tip is you have a crack, a thin super glue works wonders on mending cracks 👍🏿
